A missing Kelowna woman has been found dead, RCMP confirm.
Cassandra Miller’s body was found Friday night, police say, while officers were conducting follow up on her active missing person’s investigation.
Kelowna RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Kelowna resident.
Cassandra Miller was last seen Nov. 6.
Miller is a 28 year-old Caucasian five-foot-two woman, who has brown hair and blue eyes and has freckles.
“There is nothing to indicate foul play at this time and police believe she may still be in the Kelowna area,” said Cpl. Jesse O’DOnaghey. “Since Cassandra’s disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, however she remains missing. Police are concerned for Miller’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for her to be out of contact for this long.”
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cassandra Miller is urged to contact their local police, or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net
