More than a month after he went missing, Promise “Max” Chukwudum has been found dead in northwest Regina.
The Regina Police Service is asking the public for their help in locating a 19 year-old male who was last seen Saturday, November 17, 2018.
Nineteen year-old Promise (Max) Chukwudum was last seen in Regina in the area of Marshall Crescent during the early hours morning of Saturday, November 17, 2018. Promise (Max) Chukwudum is described as a black male having a medium build and short hair. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, light colored sweatpants, and a dark colored toque.
Police are looking to locate him to ensure his safety.
As part of police efforts to locate CHUKWUDUM, uniformed officers and members of Search and Rescue Regina (SARR) are conducting a sweep of the neighbourhoods surrounding Marshall Crescent, which is in the Normanview community. Residents of the area can expect to see uniformed Regina Police Service members, walking from house to house and, in some cases, entering into yards to check to see if there is any sign that a person may have entered a shed, garage or other structure on the property. SARR search leaders can be identified by their orange vests, with neon green on the right sleeve. SARR members also have credentials that they’ll produce for homeowners upon request. In the event that owners and residents in this neighbourhood are not at home when police and SARR members are in the area, the Regina Police Service is asking all residents to take a few minutes to check their yards, outbuildings, fences and shrubbery to ensure that nothing has been disturbed or looks out of place.

The Regina Police Service is, once again, expanding the geographic search area, in Regina, in efforts to find 19 year-old Promise (Max) CHUKWUDUM (pronounced CHOO-KO-DOOM). CHUKWUDUM has not been seen since Saturday, November 17, 2018. Police are now asking home and property owners to make the time now to search their yards, sheds and other outbuildings, and any unused or abandoned vehicles including RVs and campers. Property owners are also asked to check along fences, under decks and shrubbery and even open areas to assist in the search for the missing 19 year-old. The areas of focus are the neighbourhoods from the Transcona area to Whitmore Park, a geographic area too large to be searched by volunteers and police alone.
